Miami International University of Art & Design Alumni Return to their Alma Mater for Pure Elegance

Miami, FL – On Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 6 pm – 8 pm, Miami International University of Art & Design invites all alumni and guests to enjoy an evening of Pure Elegance, an evening of music, food, drinks, and art.

The gallery exhibition will feature works in visual arts, fashion, animation, film, graphic design,visual effects & motion graphics, interior design and photography by 16 different alumni artists: Alan Melikdjanian, Angelica Martinez, Claudia Estrada, Fro Rojas, Harumi Abe, John Sanchez, Josue Diaz, Penn Aragon, Julio R. Galan, Juan Pablo Sans, Mathew Doble, Raymond Gems Adrian, Renata Pfuner, Steve O. Garcia, Tony Como, Juliana Costa, William Jurberg, David Gonzalez Blanco, and Mari Lavergne.

The evening will also feature the much awaited unveiling of the 2008 Alumni Wall of Fame recipient, awarded to an outstanding alumni nominated and selected by faculty/staff and peers.

“This event will be an excellent opportunity for alumni to reacquaint themselves with fellow alumni in a new environment – as working professionals now,” Roxanne Contreras, alumni coordinator.
